A combination of the values of the Porsche world and of the characteristics of the Franciacorta area can be found in the aesthetic and material-related choices of the interior spaces.
The project focuses particularly intently on sustainability. As well as reusing existing structures and using extremely high-performing thermal technologies, such as Isopan’s Leaf, the plant is powered by energy originating from renewable sources and has obtained the ISO 20121 certification, the international standard for event management systems in accordance with sustainability criteria.
During the project of the Franciacorta Porsche Experience Center project, the largest the car company has ever built, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Tecnomont, identifying in Isopan’s Leaf technology as the winning choice for overcoming the challenges of the design, the only ones that can meet the specific performance required by the project.
Excellent thermal insulation performance and high fire resistance: these are the challenges that led to the choice of the Isopan's Isofrozen panel for the roof of the Customer Porsche Experience Center.
It is a sandwich panel with Leaf technology. This system made it possible to obtain thermal transmittance values under 20%, maintaining reduced thickness, and even made it possible to save a total of 15cm thus reaching the customer’s criteria. At the same time, it ensures high levels of fire resistance without the use of halogenated fire retardant products that are potentially harmful to the environment.
